HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA - APRIL 21: A general view at Hollister + SeriousFun Children's Network S'more Fest 2016 at Huntington State Beach on April 21, 2016 in Huntington Beach, California.

What a beautiful Thursday. Just another normal day in society. A day where maybe I will treat myself with some delicious snacks because I exercised a lot yesterday so I deserve it. April 20th is just another day of the year, but man is it beautiful today. Because treats are on my mind, I figured I would tell you some of my recent food creations that I have discovered when doing… research.

Full disclosure, I have a sweet tooth, so if you are looking for a salty treat, you may not find what you are looking for here. But sit back, read this, and just “trust me bro.”

  • Reese's Peanut Butter Chips Ahoy Cookies with Cool Whip

You can’t just have one of these cookies, they are delicious, and they are small. So why not have two at one time? And why not put some cool whip or maybe vanilla ice cream in between them and make them mini ice cream sandwiches? Ice Cream Sliders. Dude…

  • Graham Crackers With Peanut Butter

This seems so simple, but sometimes when you are in a lazy state of mind, you don’t want to work hard. All you need is a sleeve of graham crackers, a tub of peanut butter, and a spoon. Because people (not me, but apparently I’m weird) say that peanut butter is more salty than sweet, this spread on a sweet graham cracker is a perfect sweet and salty pairing. Sometimes I get crazy and put little chocolate chips on top. They stick to the peanut butter so you aren’t making a mess and dropping them all over the floor.
  • A Talenti Gelato

This may seem like a cop-out because I didn’t really discover anything when it is already put together in the pint, but enjoying every level of these is a new experience each time. Don’t deep dive with your spoon. Enjoy each level at a time and then you will continue to experience different flavors and textures.
  • A Make Shift 'Smore

When you aren’t in the right state of mind, please don’t mess around with fire. Use one of the greatest inventions of all time for anybody who is in a lazy mood, the microwave. Now I know what you are saying “you can’t put a marshmallow in the microwave! It’ll blow up!” Yes, that is true, but you just got to be smart and it will be perfect. 10 seconds expands it but doesn’t blow it up. It makes it warm enough so that when you put the chocolate bar on top of it and shush the graham crackers down, the chocolate will begin to melt. “Trust me, bro”
  • A hamburger... with Chick Fil A Sauce

If you ever listen to the show, you know that I am a junk man. I love condiments, I love mixing foods together, and I am a human garbage disposal. Whenever I grill a hamburger, I usually always grill an extra for later. My go-to burger has ketchup on it, but recently, I discovered with my leftover burger, putting on Chick Fil A sauce. Is that sacrilegious? Chick Fil A sauce on red meat? I did it, and it was delightful.
