Teen Arrested For Taping Dead Fish To ATM Machines

A teenager in Utah has been arrested for a stinky prank… He’s been filming himself taping dead fish to ATM machines across Provo, Utah.  He goes by the handle “fish_bandit84” on Instagram.  All he does is record himself taking a dead fish and taping it to a random ATM machine.  He has sixty-four thousand followers on Instagram.  However, his followers love his antics, but police and the banks are not amused.  The kid is now facing two counts of property damage and his case has been referred to Juvenile Justice and Youth Services.

Airplane Forced To Turn Around Because Passenger Wouldn’t Stop Passing Gas

Goodness gracious.  An American Airlines plane had to turn around in Phoenix, Arizona recently because a passenger would not stop passing gas.  And this is not a case of someone unfortunately having a very upset stomach… this passenger was obnoxious.  He yelled at one point, “You thought that was rude? Well how about this smell!” Before then letting out a very loud… toot.  The plane thankfully was not in the air, but it was in motion.  It had to turn around, go back to the gate and the smelly passenger was removed from the plane.

7 Candidates To Be The Eagles Next Offensive Coordinator

After a disappointing season on offense, that saw Jalen Hurts slightly regress, the Eagles are once again on the look for an Offensive Coordinator. They are keeping Nick Sirianni, but moving on from Brian Johnson. There are people in the building who think that is the wrong move, but it is the move they made. And now the search begins for who will replace him and try to fix the mess they are in.

There are several things that make the search complicated. For one, potential candidates may see the dysfunction and want to steer clear. Seeing a guy get fired for one year over something that was not necessarily his fault makes it not that attractive of a job. There is also the fact that the position for the Eagles is not as powerful as it is for other teams. Brian Johnson did not have very much say over what the gameplan was, he called plays from a playbook Nick Sirianni designed.

With that said, there are things that make it appealing. Namely the talent on the roster. Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, and a great O-Line. If things do get better, you could easily turn the job into a head coach opportunity. That is what Shane Steichen did the prior season. And even with this season not going so well, Brian Johnson got several interviews already this offseason. And he will likely get another chance to be OC elsewhere given how well-respected he is around the league despite being scapegoated by the Eagles.

So who could the next OC be? Will they bring in a veteran with playcalling experience? Or will they try to poach a young position coach somewhere looking to get their first chance at calling plays? Let’s look at some of the potential candidates, and if they would make sense for the Eagles.

Here are 7 Candidates That Could Be The Next Offensive Coordinator For The Eagles:

  • Jim Bob Cooter- Colts OC

    A name everyone knows. Both because it is kind of a funny name, and he has been around the NFL for so long. He formerly served as the Lions offensive coordinator from 2016 to 2019 and was the Colts offensive coordinator last year. He also consulted for the Eagles back in 2021. Cooter has already been connected to the job in several reports.

    He would need permission to take the job because he is already the Colts’ OC. Much like how Eric Bieniemy was allowed to move on to the Commanders where he could call plays last year, the Colts may grant Jim Bob Cooter the same opportunity. But for all we know, he is not even available.

    Would it be the right hire for the Eagles? His offenses were fine, but nothing special with the Lions. And while the Colts overachieved on offense this year, how much of that was Shane Steichen? It is a name, but perhaps not the most inspiring one.

  • Klint Kubiak- Niners Passing Game Coordinator

    The popular move right now around the NFL is to pull from the Kyle Shanahan coaching tree. And Kubiak served as the Niners Passing Game Coordinator this season. Before that, he was the Vikings OC in 2021.

    He lacks significant play-calling experience. So if you are looking for someone proven, he won’t fit the bill. But maybe he could bring some of the things the Eagles offense lacked into the building. The Eagles could certainly stand to adopt some of what the 49ers are doing. Starting with their use of motion, and the implementation of throws over the middle of the field. The 49ers always seem to take what defenses give them. That was not the case with the Eagles.

    He is also the son of former Head Coach Gary Kubiak if that means anything.

  • Kliff Kingsbury- USC Senior Offensive Analyst

    This would certainly be a splashy hire. Though perhaps not a well-received one. Kliff was coveted by NFL teams before he made the jump here from Texas Tech back in 2019. But the job he did in Arizona left a lot to be desired.

    He started as the Texas Tech OC, and then eventually became Head Coach. While there he coached both Patrick Mahomes and Kyler Murray. Then he spent 4 seasons as the Cardinals’ Head Coach. In two of those seasons, his offense ranked in the top 10. The other two years did not go so well however.

    He has underachieved at every step in his career. He was a part of disappointing teams at Texas Tech, Arizona, and now USC. Maybe being the OC instead of the Head Coach would make things different. He didn’t make for a good head coach, but that does not mean he can’t be a great OC at the NFL level. That said, it feels like there should be much better options. He is meeting with the Eagles though, so he has to be a name to keep an eye on.

  • Zac Robinson- Rams Passing Game Coordinator

    If you aren’t going to steal from Kyle Shanahan, maybe they can steal from Sean McVay instead. Those two represent the forefront of what NFL offenses strive to be right now. Zac Robinson has been the Rams’ passing game coordinator for two years now. Before that, he was their Assistant QB coach for 3 years.

    2022 was a disaster every way you slice it for the Rams. But this past season saw them bounce back. And while Sean McVay runs the show there, maybe Robinson could bring some of what the Rams do to the Eagles.

    He has no play-calling experience. So again he is maybe not the ideal candidate to right the ship. At this point, most people would prefer the Eagles bring in a seasoned playcaller to try and right the ship. But Robinson does have the makeup of a future OC. He is getting interviews elsewhere for the OC job, so despite his lack of experience, he is a serious candidate. And the Rams have been better than most teams at getting the most out of their star WRs. Something the Eagles could obviously benefit from.

  • Eric Bieniemy- Commanders OC

    In terms of experience and success, none of these candidates have a better resume. Bieniemy was the OC for the Chiefs from 2018 to 2022. In that time, they won two Super Bowls while putting up historic numbers on offense. Granted Andy Reid was the coach, and that also happened to be when Patrik Mahomes really broke out as a QB. But you can’t completely discount Bieniemy’s role in that.

    This past season, he moved on to the Commanders where he could take a bigger role in shaping the offense. This came after being overlooked for Head Coach jobs multiple seasons in a row. Obviously things did not go great there. But at least early on, he had Sam Howell putting up big numbers.

    If what the Eagles want is experience and pedigree, he is the best option available for hire.

  • Kellen Moore- Chargers OC

    Before Moore becomes an option, we first need to find out if he is even available to hire. The Chargers have thus far blocked him from interviewing for other teams. That could be because they plan to keep him on as OC. It also may just be because they want to give their next head coach the chance to make that decision himself. So if you want Moore, you may have to wait. And even after waiting you may find out that he is not available for hire.

    But if the Chargers do move on, he is an interesting candidate. In Dallas, his offense ranked 1st in yards twice. In 2021 they also finished 1st in points. When he first started there there was significant hype around him as a coach, and at least in the regular season, he often lived up to it. But they kept coming up short in the playoffs. As we saw this season, that seems like more of a Cowboys issue than it is a him issue. And while things didn’t go well with the Chargers this past season, that goes way above his head and they were a disaster waiting to happen.

    Moore will definitely get another job as OC. He is not available yet, but he is a name to watch if the Chargers move on. He also could get a Head Coach job with the Panthers.

  • Frank Reich- Panthers Former Head Coach

    I dont think Reich is a real option. But because of his connection to Philly, and to Nick Sirianni, he is at least worth mentioning. He was the OC here when the Eagles won their first Super Bowl. He also was the Head Coach in Indy when Sirianni was OC there. Sirianni loves him so much he had a fit after beating Indy last year. As if he was doing it for Frank Reich.

    The problem is how poorly things have gone for him since leaving Philly. He was a bad coach in both Indy and Carolina. Not even his offenses worked. He is a name, but not a very good one. It feels like people just bring him up because of his past, and not because he is an actual good candidate.
