NEW YORK, NEW YORK - AUGUST 23: Taijuan Walker #99 of the New York Mets pitches in the first inning against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium on August 23, 2022 in New York City.

See What Anthony Had to Say About the Phillies Signing Taijuan Walker In His Opening Diatribe This Morning…

It is a red December, as the Phillies’ moves keep on happening.

The Phillies just keep on surprising us and making great moves. I love Taijuan Walker. That’s a great move. Because I was expecting Jameson Taillon. Who, you know, he is one of those dudes. He is a gimme. A little bit better than a gimme maybe. He is a five. Will get lit up every now and then. You try to squeak 5 or 6 out of him. But Taijuan is actually good. All of the sudden, you look at the Phillies rotation, and it’s good. Wheeler is your workhorse as always. Say what you want about Nola, I know he scoffed a little bit in the Playoffs, but he had a great year. You’ve got who Ranger was money in the playoffs. Now you throw Walker in there. And you have the young phenom coming up. i mean that’s a strong rotation.

You are coming back with your two big workhorses in the bullpen. Have to get one more piece. But guess what, this team is a good team. And once again you size them up, and let’s go. You’re rolling with Turner, Schwarber, and Bryce. I mean this is a team that is going to hit. it has a good balance between youth. You have speed and all kinds of power. You have some good pitching.

This is going to be a fun fun season. And I love it. The Baseball renaissance is back. it’s a red Christmas. A red and green Christmas. The colors of Christmas are alive and well between the Phillies and the 11-1 Birds.
