With how great the Phillies are, your Fantasy team may be on the back burner. But Football is still being played even if we are a bit distracted by the World Series in Philly. We are at week 9, and we are all running out of time to secure our playoff spots. But there still is some time. And whether you are trying to defend your spot, or climb into a spot, it is good to get advice from an expert.
Every week ESPN Fantasy Expert Eric Karabell joins “The Best Show Ever?” to dish out some Fantasy Advice before the Thursday game when the week officially starts. It is your chance to get your burning fantasy questions answered. Are you unsure of who to put into the final flex spot? Do you have two QBs and don’t know which one is the better play? And there are a lot of players on bye weeks, so maybe you need advice on who to replace your starters with from your team’s bench. He answers all your questions. Here is what Karabell had to say when he was on with us earlier today before the week 9 games.
Fantasy Value of Players in Eagles/ Texans Game
“Their rookie running back Dameon Pierce is pretty much a must-start. He has become a top-10 fantasy option. And he is pretty much their entire offense. Their QB doesn’t move the ball very well. Brandin Cooks has a bunch of 1000-yard seasons, but he ain’t going to get there this year. It is basically Pierce. And we actually have the Eagles’ defense/ special teams ranked number one this week. because again Houston doesn’t move the ball very well. lots of turnovers. It should be an easy win for the Eagles on Thursday night and don’t force any Texans into your lineup, except Pierce.”
