Flyers Somehow Find Someone To Take Erik Gustafsson
I’m not messing with you. Chuck Fletcher SOMEHOW convinced a team (The Montreal Canadians) to take Erik Gustafsson. The Flyers get a 7th round pick in return. They will have to pay 50% of his salary.
Gustafsson was signed as a Matt Niskanen replacement. But he, like just about every Flyers D-Man this season, was a disaster. He was signed to a 1 year, $3 million dollar deal and had an illustrious career! 24 games, 10 points. Stats wise that isn’t bad but unfortunately he plays defense….and didn’t play it well.
