With the rain postponement of Game 3 of the World Series last night, an already incredibly busy week in Philadelphia sports just got more incredibly busy. Of course the Fall Classic is still ongoing, but the birds play a rare Thursday night game, the Sixers and Flyers are both in action, and the Union will be playing for the MLS Cup this weekend as well. While the success our teams are having is absolutely awesome, it is creating a dilemma for what to watch, and when. Hey, that’s what I’m here for! Here’s a look forward at this week’s worth of games, and a hierarchy of what to watch on each day:

  • Tuesday, November 1st

Flyers @ Rangers – 7:00 PM on NBCSP

Astros @ Phillies – 8:03 PM on FOX

Ok, tonight is a pretty easy start to the busy stretch of the week. Watch the Flyers 1st period as a bit of a warmup to the Phillies, then either completely flip over to the World Series or throw the Flyers on the 2nd TV/Tablet/Phone. Simple enough.

  • Wednesday, November 2nd

Wizards @ Sixers – 6:00 PM on NBCSP

    Flyers @ Maple Leafs – 7:00 PM on NBCSP+

Astros @ Phillies – 8:03 PM on FOX

Wednesday is where the schedule gets interesting. The Sixers and Flyers both play, along with Game 4 of the World Series. The first thing of note is that the Sixers are playing at home, adding to the crowd around the sports complex in South Philly. If you’re going to either the Sixers or Phillies game, LEAVE EARLY. For folks watching at home, it’s solo Sixers at 6pm, Flyers on the 2nd screen starting at 7pm, and then the World Series takes the main screen at 8, with the Sixers conclusion on the 2nd screen and the Flyers game popping on there as soon as the Sixers get done.

  • Thursday, November 3rd

Astros @ Phillies – 8:03 PM on FOX

Eagles @ Texans – 8:15 PM on Amazon Prime Video

Only 2 games on Thursday, but they’re 2 HUGE ones. You could be looking at a clinching game of the World Series matched up with the Eagles’ attempt to move to 8-0. Here’s the easy decision: the Texans are hot garbage, the Phillies are playing in the WORLD SERIES. Phillies have priority, with the Eagles on the 2nd screen. Hopefully, the birds will make the football portion of the night a laugher early.

  • Friday, November 4th

Knicks @ Sixers – 7:00 PM on NBCSP

FINALLY! A night with only one game! Check out the Sixers and the Knicks, or take the night off and enjoy your Friday night. Just make sure whatever you do you get some rest, the weekend gets a little hectic…

  • Saturday, November 5th

Union @ LAFC – 4:00 PM on FOX

Flyers @ Senators – 7:00 PM on NBCSP

Phillies @ Astros – 8:03 PM on FOX (if necessary)

Saturday could be a HUGE day for Philly sports depending on how the World Series works out. The Union will play for their first MLS cup at 4pm against LAFC, that should be every true Philly fan’s full focus in the afternoon on Saturday. We’re a 5 for 5 city now. That match should be settled well before the Flyers take on the Senators at 7pm, so you can put them on the main tv until the Phillies take over for Game 6 at 8pm. There could be 2 championships won on Saturday. How awesome would that be??

  • Sunday, November 6th

Phillies @ Astros – 8:03 PM on FOX (if necessary)

Game 7 of the World Series, and it’s the only game in town. Hopefully the Phillies have won already and there’s no need to play this one, but if so, buckle up. It would be a stressful culmination to a busy week.
