No one does it better than these legends. Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson make an incredible statement in the ring at Wrestlemania.

Wrestlemania coming to Philadelphia is a huge deal. Full disclosure, I could care less about wrestling or the WWE, but I love when Philly gets to do cool things and I love when people get excited to come to Philly.

Wrestlemania Has Philly Ties

It’s such a big deal that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has spent months teasing his role. In fact, The Rock is headed back in the ring and it’s his first match in 11 years. The Rock is obviously from the Lehigh Valley so it’s even more special that he’s doing this close to home.

We will forgive him for being 90 minutes late to an event on Thursday night and saying it was because he was watching Jalen Hurts lose in the playoffs. He clearly didn’t forget how to rally up a fanbase. Other superstars Logan Paul, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are also set to step into the ring in the middle of Lincoln Financial Field.

Wrestlemania Helping Philly Tourism

The main event takes place over two days on April 6 and 7, but there are numerous events in and around Philly over the next few days. The Hall of Fame Ceremony and Friday Night Smackdown just to name a few. The Philadelphia Convention Center is the hub for all things when people aren’t watching the main event at the Linc.

Wrestlemania Making History

The first pay-per-view WrestleMania was held at Madison Square Garden in 1985, with Hulk Hogan, Mr. T, Rowdy Roddy Piper and Muhammad Ali in the ring. WrestleMania XV took place in 1999 at Philadelphia’s First Union Center (now the Wells Fargo Center).

The fourth and fifth WrestleMania took place in the late 1980s in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

We all figured Jason Kelce would show up, but I don’t think any of us thought he and Lane would do what they did. Enjoy the incredible moments below!
