Could Northwestern’s Adetomiwa Adebawore be the Eagles’ pick at 30? The Eagles have two picks in the first round.
Given The Eagles’ history, it feels safe to say one of them will be spent on a lineman. Maybe even both. Outside of taking WRs in the first round in two recent years, they have taken an O-Lineman or D-Lineman in the draft nearly every year under Howie Roseman. And with the Eagles having some needs along both lines, it makes sense for them to look at the D-Line at either pick 10 or pick 30. Even if they trade out of pick 30, the 2nd round pick they got back could very well be a defensive lineman.
Javon Hargrave, Linval Joseph, and Ndamukong Suh all leaving. On the edge, Brandon Graham is getting older. They don’t have much depth outside of him, Josh Sweat, and Hasson Reddick. Besides, you can never have too much depth along the defensive line.
There is one guy that could fit either of those needs. Adetomiwa Adebawore out of Northwestern. We have already discussed other options on the D Line like Jalen Carter, Myles Murphy, Lukas Van Ness, Nolan Smith, and Bryan Bresee. But let’s look at one more defensive lineman that could end up an Eagle before the draft.
Could Adetomiwa Adebawore be the pick at 30? Does his freaky athleticism suggest he could be more productive in the NFL?
