NFL Free agency officially begins Wednesday, but with the legal tampering period already in full swing, the Eagles have been sitting on their hands. This was to be expected. The team is bargain shopping this season as they struggle with the salary cap, something they haven't dealt with in years. So the high priced free agents wont be coming to Philly so here's a look at some cheap options Howie Roseman should consider as he looks to fill out the roster.

It wasnt so long ago that Hooker was the best safety in the 2017 draft. Hes dealt with injuries and could be a cheap buy. Hes also local, hailing from New Castle PA. He could fill the safety void

RB Marlon Mack

The Eagles are in need of a second running back and Marlon Mack would be PERFECT. Hes coming off an achiles injury that he suffered in week 1 of last season. The bruising back would make a perfect compliment to Miles Sanders

RB Samaje Perine

If youre bargain hunting, and the Eagles are, Perine would be a cheap backup option. He wouldnt be #1 on my shopping list but you could settle for much worse and he likely comes at the right price

LB Alex Anzalone

If youre looking for bagain bin LB's (and when are the Eagles NOT looking at bargain bin LBs) you may as well get one with starting expierience. Anzalone started as a rookie for the Saints but he has limitations. Which is why hes now a free agent. Which is why hes on this list. But he plays an area of need

LB Nicholas Morrow

I expect the Eagles to face some competition for Morrow, who has improved every year in the NFL. He started 11 games last season for the Raiders. He might be too expensive for the team but just in case, he makes the list!

QB Robert Griffin III

Former Rookie of the Year turned third string QB. The Eagles need a veteran QB but they have to choose wiseley because you need one who isnt good enough to really start. Hes more paid to be a mentor. Who better than a guy who had it all until injuries took it away. I dont expect many fans will clamor for RGIII if Hurts struggles.

CB Kevin King

King comes with expeirience, starting all but one game hes played in for the past 3 seasons. The former second round pick in 2017 could be a nice addition to a secondary that probably cant get much worse

WR Josh Reynolds

Hopefully the Eagles are focused on a WR in the first round, but if they do look to get one in free agency then Reynolds would be a nice addition as he comes off a breakout season with 600 yards on 52 catches

T Julie'n Davenport

The Paulsboro native lost his starting job in Miami last season. But with the Eagles (hopefully) saying goodbye to Jason Peters it would be wise to sign a backup tackle, and Davenport has experience

DL DeMarcus Walker

With the Eagles letting go Malik Jackson theyre likely looking to bring in a cheaper option. Walker could be that guy. Hes coming off back to back seasons with 4 sacks. Playing primarily in a rotation

CB Gareon Conley

A player looking for a prove it deal is exactly what the Eagles need. Conley dropped in the draft because of off the field issues but went 24th overall to the Raiders. He was even being discussed for the Eagles who choose Barnett. The Raiders gave up on him and the Texans dont appear interested in bringing him back. I dont expect his phone to be blowing up
