Kevin Negandhi Talks About How Dominant The Eagles Look
Everything looks good in Eagles land. They are 3-0. Jalen Hurts looks like an MVP. The Defense has given up just 13 points in the last two weeks. And they are one of two teams that have two wide receivers in the top 10 for receiving yards. They look like a legit and complete team. And Anthony Gargano talked to Kevin Negandhi today about the Eagles. They also got into some memories from Veterans Stadium with it being the anniversary of the Phillies’ last game there. Here is some of what Kevin Negandhi had to say about the Eagles on The Anthony Gargano Show…
On Nick Sirianni and The Front 4
“Sirianni deserves a ton credit. That guy understands we aren’t going to be hitting hard. We aren’t going to do a lot of pad work during the week. That front 4, it was shades of years past in the ’90s. You don’t have to blitz. The Front 4 is going to be dominant. It was just so satisfying to watch how that game played out. The offense was great in the first half. But the dominance of the defense throughout was setting the tone.”
On The Big Step Jalen Hurts Has Taken
“He looks like a guy that heard everything. He won’t tell you he heard everything. But he won’t let you forget he heard everything. And is going to make sure every week that people pay for what was said. And he will never buy into the hype… He is trusting the work he put in. When he is out there, he doesn’t need to see an open wide receiver. He trusts the work he put in. I worked on this, I’m throwing to a window, and the receiver will get there. it helps when you have AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. But he is trusting the ability of his arm, and the work he put in that we don’t see. Man, it’s fantastic.”
