John DiCarlo Discusses Week 4 Temple vs. Umass

There are no moral victories in sports….but the closest thing to that is what Temple Football experienced last Saturday when they welcomed Rutgers into the Linc. It was homecoming weekend, and while homecoming is historically a win, it was not the case as the Owls entered as an 18 point underdog. It was EJ Warner’s first start in college and while the Owls lost, Warner and the defense kept them in it. Ultimately the Owls lost 16-14 after 3 field goals and an interception that was returned for a touchdown.

The Owls currently sit at 1-2 with a very winnable opponent coming to town in the Umass Minutemen. To recap the loss to Rutgers, while also previewing the game against Umass, John DiCarlo from Owlscoop joined Pat Egan to discuss week 4 of the Stan Drayton era.
