Temple Football will battle Rutgers Saturday September 17th. But they will do so with a new quarterback under center. After struggling against FCS opponent Lafayette last week, starter D’wan Mathis was pulled in favor of true freshman E.J. Warner. Warner, who is the son of Pro-Football Hall of Famer Kurt Warner, went 14-19 with 173 yards and 2 touchdowns and generally looked the part.
John DiCarlo from Owlscoop.com joined Pat Egan from the John Kincade show to talk about the switch at quarterback, and preview the homecoming game against Rutgers. Pat will also be broadcasting LIVE with Andrew Salciunas outside of the Linc in the K lot before the game. So if you’re heading to homecoming then stop on by and see the guys.
