The Phillies are currently mired in a 4 game losing streak. The first true losing streak since Rob Thompson took over as manager of the team on June 3rd. A losing streak like this was to be expected with the rash of injuries the Phillies have dealt with. Its left a lot of Phillies fans begging the front office to make a move (similar to what the Braves did last season when they were hit by the injury bug.)

Jamie Lynch is one of those fans. Jamie has been banging the table for the Phillies to make a move ever since Bryce Harper went down. The Phillies injury problems have only gotten worse since then yet the Phillies have somehow managed to win series. Its led people like Pat Egan to say “wait. Let the price come down. No need to rush at this point.”
