Flyers Sign Top Prospect Bobby Brink
While the Flyers season has NOT gone as expected, it just got a little bit better. The Flyers announced they have signed their top prospect Bobby Brink to an entry level contract. We could see Brink as early as Tuesday night when the Flyers take on the Capitals.
Brink slipped to the Flyers in the second round of the 2019 NHL draft. He headed to the University of Denver where he flourished! Becoming one of, if not the best forward in college hockey. In 41 games he had 57 points (14 goals, 43 assists) becoming a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award which is the equivalent of the Heisman award for hockey. He then capped off his year by winning a National Championship.
So while this season has been rough, there is some light at the end of the tunnel.
