Howie has had a pretty remarkable turnaround in the last 14 months. Back in January of 2021 most Eagles fans were ready to get rid of Roseman and move on. After numerous bad draft picks, and the downfall of Carson Wentz (who, at the time, people attributed his demise to the “unnecessary” drafting of Jalen Hurts) Eagles fans could not WAIT to find the teams next GM.
But fast forward to present day and things have changed. We now know that Howie fleeced the Colts for a 1st round pick, the teams third first rounder in the upcoming draft. He also proved to hit on all of his picks in the 2018 draft despite having just 5 picks. He signed 4 of the 5 to contract extensions this past year and the outlier (Matt Pryor) recently earned a second contract with the Colts.
Howie hopes to continue his success from 2018 with the draft in Vegas later next month.
