Adam Schefter Gives Insight On When We Could See Some QB Movement In The NFL
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter joined the John Kincade Show for his weekly hit (8:10am) and gave his take on the Super Bowl BIG GAME. This weekend we have the Bengals vs. the Rams for all the marbles. Schefter started off the conversation by giving his opinion on how the Eagles can get back.
Eventually though the conversation went to the quarterback position. The Eagles might be in the market for one but were just sitting and waiting for the market to take form. Last season, and in previous seasons, we’ve seen quarterbacks get traded fairly quickly. But Schefter doesn’t see that happening this year.
“(trades) Wont happen as fast as last season. We don’t know if Russell Wilson wants to be traded. Last year, the next day after the season ended, Matthew Stafford told the Lions he wanted to be traded. Other teams knew that and there were enough quarterback-needy teams that we saw an early Matt Stafford trade,” Schefter told the gang. “Right now we don’t know if Russell Wilson will demand a trade. We don’t know if Aaron Rodgers wants out of Green Bay. And we dont know the status of Deshaun Watsons court case.”
