Flyers Ink Couturier To 8 Year Contract
The Flyers have signed center Sean Couturier to an 8 year, $62 million dollar deal. The deal will keep “Coots” in a Flyers sweater until at least 2030.
Couturier was drafted 8th overall with the draft pick the Flyers acquired when they traded Jeff Carter to the Blue Jackets. Couturier slowly developed into one of the leagues best defensive centers in the league, winning the Selke trophy in 2020. He has also blossomed offensively too! Enjoying back to back 76 point seasons during a full 82 game schedule.
