The Fanatic’s Tim McManus reports these highlights from Eagles training camp for Monday July 29, 2019 on The Mike Missanelli Show.
- Carson Wentz and DeSean Jackson had their best day of working together yet. They have been working on their “chemistry” and it’s paying off. Their passing connection was “on point” today.
- Jackson is “killing” those trying to cover him. He’s “spry & fast”, and “looks as fast as the last time he was here”.
- Tim and Mike talked about Carson’s historically “fearless play” and how that has evolved.
- Mike brought up how many listeners think there was too much positive talk about this years team. Mike asked Tim what we should be worrying about. McManus expressed concern how Carson will perform in games coming off back to back injuries. Other concerns include the consistency of play in back up quarterback Nate Sudfeld, defense of end depth and asked if Rodney McLeod will be in full form bouncing back from injury.
- There are a number of defensive injuries related questions.
McManus also offered “this team should be able to score a ton of points”.
