It is trade deadline day in the NFL. The last chance for losing teams to trade away their star players, and the last chance for competitive teams to improve their roster. Teams have until 4 p.m. today to make any final moves before all trades are put on pause until the offseason.
It used to be NFL deadline day was not all that busy. But that all changed last year. In 2022, 10 trades were made on trade deadline day alone, the most of all time. That doesn’t even include trades like Christian McCaffrey and Roquon Smith that happened before trade deadline day. Names like Bradley Chubb and TJ Hockenson were moved, creating one of the crazier trade deadlines in NFL History.
Howie has already been a bit busy, adding Safety Kevin Byard from the Titans. But does he have anything else up his sleeve? Rumors have flown around saying he has interest in another linebacker or some O-Line depth. Will he pull the trigger? Or is Howie content with the roster they already have? What about the rest of the NFL? Will the Cowboys try to make a move to keep up with their NFC rivals? What about the Niners? Which big names could be on the move? If the NFL trade deadline is as busy as it was last year, there could be a lot of moves happening today.
