The Sixers host the New York Knicks tonight for Game 3 of their first-round series. The Sixers desperately need a win as they trail New York 2-0 in the series. Games like tonight are ones that you want to make plans for. You want to meet your friends at your local bar or even host them at your house. Wherever you are, make sure you have multiple televisions, because tonight is also the first round of the NFL Draft.

Not only is tonight a night where you get together with friends and family to watch the big game and the NFL Draft, tonight is also a night where you spruce up the entertainment side of things. In big games like this, I like to have fun and put together Same Game Parlays on my sportsbook of choice. I woke up bright (dark) and early and put together a parlay for the Sixers-Knicks contest.

Never Bet Against Your Own Team

I do want to make this clear before you go through the picks... I NEVER bet against my team. So spoiler alert, if you don’t think the Sixers are winning this game, then you may want to ignore my moneyline choice. I think it is criminal to bet against your team. You lie to yourself when you say “Well, if they lose, I make money.

If they win, "I am happy that my team won! It was worth losing x amount of dollars.” No. It. Is. Not. You work hard for your money, I am human too. If you have the Knicks winning, and the Sixers end up winning the game, part of you will be upset that you lost money. My advice, just avoid that altogether.

I do believe props are a different story though. The Sixers will not keep the Knicks to 0 points. Someone must score, get rebounds, and get assists. You may make money from it.

Whether you want to ride with the entire parlay, or if you just want to make individual bets on the selections I made, let me know! Hopefully, we can make some extra cash heading into the weekend.

Here Are The 9 Legs Of My Parlay For Sixers-Knicks Game 3:

1 – Sixers ML

Let's get this one out of the way first. It may be the one you sweat out the most, but I think the Sixers win. I am not confident enough to take the points, in an SGP, I just need a win and I will still get the bump in payout. If the Sixers go down 3-0, the conversations will not be fun. They get the win tonight.

2 – Tyrese Maxey 25+ points

Maxey’s Over/Under in points is around 26.5. Some books allow you to make bets on specific numbers like in this case. I believe Maxey scores at least 25 points. Honestly, I think he is in the 30s again, but I will play it safe and take him at 25+.

3 – Maxey 3+ Threes Made

Tyrese Maxey’s Over/Under for 3s is 3.5. Taking 3+ threes gives me a little insurance. If I am expecting Maxey to score at least 25 points tonight, you know some of that has to come from 3. He has made at least 3 three-point baskets in 4 straight games.

4 – Tobias Harris.... 6+ Rebounds

No. I refuse to take any point totals for Tobias Harris. When I take his over, it never hits. The day I take his under, he will go off.  Not that I want to give Harris too much credit, he has been consistent on the glass. The last time Harris didn’t grab at least 6 rebounds was on March 24th.

5 – Tyrese Maxey 6+ Assists

Tyrese Maxey is going to score. He is also going to attract a ton of attention from the Knicks defense so he will have to get assists as well. And oh by the way, he gets to pass the ball to Joel Embiid who will score. Maxey only had 4 assists in game 1... but he had 10 in game 2. Give me 6, I don’t think I am asking for too much.

6 – Jalen Brunson 6+ Assists

Okay the last 4 legs of this parlay are all Knicks props. So if you just want to take the first 5, go for it. But I am also trying to make some extra cash and I don’t think any of these props will hurt the Sixers enough to lose. With the defense against Brunson to keep him from scoring, he has done a nice job facilitating. Brunson had 7 assists in game 1 and 8 in game 2.

7 – Jalen Brunson 2+ Threes Made

I am going back to this well. I was 2 Brunson 3’s away from hitting a SGP in Game 2. He shot 1-6 from 3 in game 2 as well as game 1. 2 of 12 in the series is ugly. He is too good of a basketball player to continue to shoot like that. I don’t think one more 3 being made his crazy to expect.

8 – Josh Hart 2+ Threes Made

I don’t think Hart is going to shoot as well as he did in the first two games of this series. He is going to have looks though. The defensive strategy in theory has worked. I don’t think Nick Nurse will make too many changes. Hart is feeling himself right now. He SHOULD keep firing. Hopefully, he doesn’t make 4 tonight... but I’ll allow 2.

9 – Josh Hart 10+ Rebounds

Josh Hart will do whatever he can to grab rebounds. He knows his role on this team. No one expected him to shoot the way that he has, but we expect him to use his athleticism to grab rebounds against a Sixers team that has a banged-up center. He has grabbed at least 10 rebounds the last 3 games. To be honest with you, this was the hardest one for me to add. This is the one that I say “This will ruin my SGP”. So with that being said, your call if you want to add it or not.
