Allen Iverson to Receive $32M Trust Fund as Part of Reebok Contract
Allen Iverson’s contract with shoemaker Reebok will reap a lifetime of rewards when he turns 55.
The NBA great, who turned 45 on Sunday, will receive a trust fund worth $32 million when he turns 55. Iverson inked the trust fund deal in 2001. That year, the NBA’s MVP had just led Philadelphia to the Finals.
Iverson still gets paid 800,000 annually by Reebok. Reebok CEO Matt O’Toole once said that Iverson is “an iconic personality” that the shoemaker knows it can bank on worldwide.
