From Penn State to Super Bowl LIV
Sunday Feb. 2 the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will take the field in Miami for Super Bowl LIV and although we don’t have a hometown team in the Big Game this year there are a few reasons PA residents will like this matchup.
Five former Penn State Nittany Lions will suit up Sunday.
From the Chiefs:
Jordan Lucas, safety, White Plains, NY
Stefen Wisniewski, guard, Pittsburgh, PA
From the 49ers:
Kevin Givens, defensive tackle, Altoona, PA
Robbie Gould, placekicker, Jersey Shore, PA
Anthony Zettel, defensive end, Tawas City, MI
The Kansas City Cheifs also have Montgomery County native and Villanova grad, Tanoh Kpassagnon.
