[WATCH] Gritty Mocks The Houston Astros
Outrage over the 2017 MLB cheating scandal has spilled over into the world of hockey.
Walking through the stands Tuesday as the Flyers’ took on the Penguins was Philly’s beloved mascot, who addressed the sign-stealing as only he could.
Trading out his usual drum, Gritty instead held a trashcan with the Houston Astros’ logo on its side. In reference to how the baseball team signaled their players, the googly-eyed orange monster banged on it as part of his “Let’s Go Flyers” chant.
Just to drive the point home, a security guard followed along holding a sign that read, “Gritty learnt this from the Astros.”
