Browns Interested In Eagles Assistant For Head Coaching Job
With Mike McCarthy now heading to the Cowboys, the Browns are still in need of a new head coach.
Reportedly Cleveland is interested in Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, formally asking the team for permission to set up the interview, says Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Schwartz has experience in the HC role, heading up the Lions from 2009 through 2013, taking them to the playoffs in 2011.
Casting a wide net, the Browns have spoken with Eric Bieniemy, Brian Daboll, Josh McDaniels, Greg Roman, Robert Saleh, Kevin Stefanski, and Mike McCarthy, reveals NFL.com.
