VIDEO: Adam Schefter Weighs In On The Eagles 49ers NFC Championship Game
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter joined the John Kincade Show for his weekly hit (Wednesdays at 8:10am) to discuss all things NFL. But this week there was one topic and one topic only; the NFC Championship game. Sunday at 3pm the Eagles and 49ers will battle it out to see who heads to Glendale for Super Bowl 57.
With the game being in Philadelphia, it gives the Eagles an added advantage to be playing at home and playing in front of their home fans. The home field advantage could prove to be a big deal in this game and Schefty agrees:
“I think if they played this game 10 times in Philly, Philly would win more than half of them, but this is just one game.”
These two teams are very similar when it comes to their defense. Both teams have arguably the best defense in the league. But when you look at the strength of schedule Schefter likes the Eagles schedule and opponents that they faced over the 49ers schedule.
“If you look at their schedule, they have not beat a lot of tough teams, and Dallas might’ve been the toughest team they’ve played… The Eagles have played a tougher schedule.”
