VIDEO. Mark Schlereth: “That Was Jalen Hurts’ Coming Out Party”
Former Pro Bowl offensive linemen Mark Schlereth joined the John Kincade Show to discuss the Eagles vs. Commanders game this Sunday. Schlereth will be calling the game for Fox as the color analyst so hes spent all week watching tape of both teams. But he came away extremely impressed with the Eagles.
“Im on the bandwagon,” Schlereth told the guys. “This team is legit I think the Eagles are one of the top teams in terms of roster talent. They have the best combination of size and speed and quickness and athleticism that ive seen on tape so far this year.”
One of the big reason why Mark Schlereth is on the bandwagon is because of what he has seen from Jalen Hurts. Hurts had his best game as an Eagle on Monday night against the Vikings and Schlereth gave his insight on what he saw.
“He was decisive. He was like a pitcher throwing 100 mph and saying ‘if you can hit it go ahead.’ He was deadly accurate. The ball out of his hand was sharp.”
Schlereth continued on praising Hurts’ game and he doesnt think what we watched Monday night was a fluke.
“That was (Hurts’) coming out party as far as i’m concerned. I’ve never see him throw the ball with that authority. The authority he threw the ball with was amazing.”
