Today is game 1 of the Sixers – Nets playoff series. As Cooper naps on me, I figured what the heck, let’s mess around with an SGP. Let me know…

Today is game 1 of the Sixers - Nets playoff series. As Cooper naps on me, I figured what the heck, let’s mess around with an SGP. Let me know if you are jumping on board!

Joel Embiid to score 30+ points:

Embiid will win the MVP award. He still isn’t getting the respect he deserves. I think he makes a statement in game 1 against a team that can’t guard him.

Tyrese Maxey Over 2.5 Threes

It would be smart of the Sixers to get Maxey going early in these playoffs. With a matchup against the Celtics looming, who Maxey has struggled against in his career, now would be a good time to get him hot. In his last 10 games, Maxey has made at least 3 three point baskets 6 times.

Tyrese Maxey to score 15+ points

Same logic as his three-point baskets. When he’s on, he can drill 5 threes in a game. That alone would get him to this total.

James Harden to record 10+ assists

Harden leads the league in assists with 10.7 a game. If Embiid is dropping 30+ and Maxey is hitting shots from beyond, Harden is getting them the ball. I don’t think the regular season average was a fluke.

James Harden to grab Over 5.5 Rebounds

While I’m on Harden, may as well give you two more props of his. The ball just finds him. He averaged over 6 rebounds a game this season. I don’t think he gets a triple double today, but he should hit this over in rebounds.

James Harden Under 19.5 Points

I know I know, no one likes to be unders. I think the Sixers win this series in 4 or 5 games. I don’t think Harden needs to drop 20+ every game in order for the Sixers to win. He probably will one game this series, but my gut says this is an Embiid and Maxey day. If I’m being honest with you, this is the one I hesitated with the most, but the payout looks beautiful.

De’Anthony Melton Over 1.5 3s

Melton has struggled as of late. He has only scored in double figures twice out of the last 8 games to finish the season. I know that May alarm you when make this bet, but now would be the time to get going if you are Melton. He will be an important piece if the Sixers were to go deep in the playoffs. Even though he hasn’t been scoring, he has still been attempting shots from 3. We just need 2 to go in.

Tobias Harris to grab 4+ rebounds

I think Harris is a matchup nightmare for the Nets in this series. I know he won’t, but he should be able to do damage against Brooklyn if he were more aggressive. His role has obviously diminished, but that doesn’t mean he can’t make an impact elsewhere. His size alone should grab him 4 rebounds per game this series.

Sixers Moneyline

Obviously, I feel good about today and the series. Play the song!!!

At the time of the parlay, a $10 bet would score me $471 on my FanDuel app. Please bet responsibly.
