Well, kids, your 2022 Philadelphia Phillies are going to the World Series. How exciting is this? I think everyone in Pennsylvania is on cloud nine today.
The Phillies are heading to the World Series for the first time since 2009, and on Sunday evening (Oct. 23), fans celebrated in some crazy ways. Across Philly, fans were taking over the streets and light poles. Even some Eagles players were there to celebrate, during their bye-week.
It was lots of craziness, and it makes me wonder just what will happen if the Phillies actually win it all. Hopefully people are sensible and stay safe, but you never know in the heat of the moment. Let’s check out some of the craziest things that went down as fans celebrated the Phillies going to the World Series. Actually, now that I think about it, can you imagine having the Eagles go to the Super Bowl, too, on top of the Phillies showing? I think that would pretty much light the world on fire. I can’t imagine the excitement that would run through Philly if that were to happen, but I’m ready for it.
