Phillies-Mets NLDS Games 3, 4 to Air on 97.5 The Fanatic
97.5 The Fanatic will broadcast Games 3 and 4 of the National League Division Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Mets on Tuesday, October 8 and Wednesday, October 9.
Jon “Boog” Sciambi and Doug Glanville have called two Phillies games at Citizens Bank Park on the 97.5 The Fanatic airwaves. Both have ended with a Nick Castellanos walk-off single.
The much-maligned outfielder took down the Atlanta Braves on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball in dramatic fashion to cap off the first Phillies broadcast on the Fanatic in years. He took it one step further, however, in Game 2 of the NLDS against the Mets.
Phillies Coverage on 97.5 The Fanatic
Long-time baseball play-by-play announcer Boog Sciambi has settled into a great role as ESPN’s radio voice for the Sunday national game, the highlight of an MLB week.
He’s an old friend of John Kincade (but who isn’t?) who flaunted his Chicago Cubs allegiance during a guest appearance on Kincade & Salciunas before the Phillies traveled to Wrigley Field in July.

Doug Glanville played parts of six seasons in two stints with the Phillies. His career season came in 1999 during the glory days of the franchise when former teammate Ricky Bottalico held down the bullpen at Veterans Stadium.
ESPN’s Baseball Tonight host Buster Olney joined The Mike Missanelli Show to discuss the momentum swing in Game 2 of the NLDS after Castellanos, Bryce Harper, and Trea Turner got the offense started.
“Seeing what happened the last two games of the playoffs last year, seeing what happened in the first game of this series – and then to see their offense finally break out, maybe it gets the Phillies back on the path to being the most dominant team in baseball.” -Buster Olney
Open the 97.5 The Fanatic app to hear Phillies pregame talk on The Best Show Ever from 2pm-5pm. Stay tuned in for the ESPN Radio broadcast beginning at 5pm.
The NLDS between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres will also air after both Phillies-Mets games end.
