For Pennsylvania, Redfin says the most affordable place to find a home in the state is Erie. According to their research, in Erie, the median home price is $136,250, average sale price per square foot is $59, average rent for a one-bedroom apartment is $770 and median household income is $43,135. In Delaware, Redfin picks Wilmington as the No. 1 most affordable place in the state. According to their research, the median home price is $225,000, average sale price per square foot is $168, average rent for a one-bedroom apartment is $1,583 and median household income is $54,731. For New Jersey, Redfin goes with Camden at No. 1, where the median home price is $135,000, average sale price per square foot is $139, average rent for a one-bedroom apartment is $925 and median household income is $28,623.
