What’s Brewing With Jen Includes Rory McIlroy Karaoke And Road Rage With Pasta
Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland and Shane Lowry of Ireland
See what was brewing with Jen Scordo today. Every day on The Best Show Ever? Jen Scordo shares a few recent weird and interesting news stories. Today that includes Rory McIlroy sings Journey and a guy throws pasta in road rage… Here are her stories from today.
Rory McIlroy Sings Journey
There is video circulating of Rory McIlroy singing karaoke after he and Shane Lowry’s win at TPC Louisiana this past Sunday night. Now I know karaoke is not reserved for only people who are talented at singing, but it is for everyone… However, I never sing in public because I know that I don’t sing well. Now maybe if I had just won the TPC Louisiana, I would’ve been feeling good enough to put myself out there, but probably not.
Rory McIlroy may have just been riding high when he picked up the microphone. And I’m glad he had fun, but he’s not the most gifted singer in the world. But I do understand that karaoke is supposed to be fun and anyone, even those that don’t sing very well can and should get up there and sing their little hearts out. And I will always cheer them on. So, good on ya Rory. And it was obvious there was some liquid courage going on that night.

Man Throws Pasta During Road Rage
It’s never ok to throw something at someone else. Never ok… However, when somebody throws something weird… like pasta, it can be a little funny. And only when nobody is physically hurt. So, a man in Florida was the victim of a road rage incident recently.
Nolan Goins got upset over some glaring headlights last week and instead of just letting it go, he took a container of pasta with sauce and threw it into the open window of the person who allegedly had the glaring headlight. Striking the man in the face with pasta and sauce. Goins was found with pasta sauce stains on the sleeve of his shirt and the passenger seat of his vehicle. He was charged with battery, a misdemeanor and released on a $1,000 bond.

The 9 Best Reactions To The Eagles Landing Quinyon Mitchell
It would be hard for the draft to go any better for the Eagles on day 1. Quinyon Mitchell was a guy we had dreams of the Eagles trading up for. Turns out, they didn’t have to. Quinyon fell right into their lap at pick 22, and they walked away not only addressing their biggest need, but getting one of the best players in the draft.
A Run On QBs Helps The Eagles
Nothing makes NFL teams more desperate than needing a QB. 6 went in the first 12 picks.
We figured Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye would all go early. JJ McCarthy was a late riser too, though he wound up falling to 10 for the Vikings. But two other teams decide to go reaching.
The Falcons, despite just handing Kirk Cousins a massive contract, drafted Michael Pennix Jr. They could have fortified the defense, got him another WR, or given him better protection up front. Instead, they used the 8th overall pick to draft his competition.
Later Bo Nix went off the board to the QB-hungry Broncos. Making 6 Qbs taken in the first 12 picks.
All 12 of those picks were offensive players. 6 QBs, 3 WRs, and 3 OTs. It was about that time you started to dream that maybe one of the top corners would fall to the Eagles. Especially when picks 13 and 14 were also on the offensive side.
Quinyon Mitchell Falls Into Their Lap
Pick after pick went by, and the corners were still there. By the time the Eagles were on the board at pick 22, both Quinyon Mitchell and Terrion Arnold were there for them. They went for the blazing speedster over the multiyear standout from Alabama. It would be hard to argue with either pick though.
Obviously with such a turn of events, it set Eagles’ Twitter on fire. But what were the best reactions to the pick?
