Jalen Brunson “Caught Off Guard” By Empire State Building Being Lit Up Green
It was probably hard enough for Giants fans to watch the Eagles win the NFC Championship game. Especially after they watched them beat the Giants down a week earlier. But to really rub it in, someone lit up the Empire State Building green for the Eagles and tweeted out that it was green specifically for the Eagles. And it left many New Yorkers confused, Including Knicks player Jalen Brunson. Brunson is from Philly, having played his College Ball at Villanova, and is an Eagles fan. But even he was caught off guard by the green Empire State Building.
“I was caught off-guard. I would never think anything in New York would turn Philly green. So it was a little off for me, but I got a good kick out of it. I’m just happy they’re moving on.”
Food Blogger Fined For Eating Great White Shark
it is usually not a good idea to film yourself committing crime. It is especially not a good idea to then post that video to social. But that is what a food blogger in China did. She filmed herself cooking and eating a great white shark. Since Great White Sharks are a protected species, she was fined. And it opened upo an investigation into where she bought the shark from, leading to multiple arrests. The food blogger did not face charges. But she was cooked in the court of public opinion, with many criticizing her for eating a protected species for clout. Maybe next time she will stick to cooking and eating meats that are not illegal.
Poop-covered van Dyck painting found in NY shed sells for $3M
A art collector recently found a very profitable, but also gross find in a shed in upstate NY. It was an original work of art by artist Anthony Van Dyke, dated back to the 1600s. And while the back of the canvas was covered in bird droppings, the collector recognized it as a Van Dyke. He bought it for $600, and then flipped it for $3 million at auction.
