Lost Texas Dog Found 7 Years Later in Texas
Jazzy the dog went missing 7 years ago in Texas. But now she has been found, in a motel in Florida. How did she get from Texas to Florida? Only Jazzy knows. She was in horrible condition when authorities found her. Could barely stand let alone walk. She was underfed and dehydrated. They were worried that with the state of her health they would have a hard time finding her a home. But turns out, she already had one. Because when they checked, they discovered she had a chip, that tracked back to her original home in Texas. It took 7 years, but she was finally reunited with her original family.
Overdue Library Book Returned 47 Years Late With Letter and $200
Speaking of long-lost things being reunited with their home, one man has returned a library book 47 years past its due date. Someone checked out a book on repairing foreign cars while they were in town and repairing a Mercedes Benz. But when they moved a few months later, the book was accidentally packed away. Apparently, that person eventually discovered it 47 years later though. because the book showed up in a package, along with a note explaining what happened, and $200. The money was put in the general library found for the area, and the book was presumably put back on the shelf for future people to use.
You Can Be Paid To Change Your Name To Karen
The name Karen has taken a bit of a hit in recent years. It is now synonymous with being entitled, the type of person who wants to speak to the manager, and the type of person who will call the cops because a black man walks past their house. It’s to the point parents do not want to name their newborns Karen. But a Radio One DJ in the UK wants to help the name survive. So he has offered to pay 100 people to change their name to Karen.
Though if you are thinking you can turn a profit, think again. Because apparently, all he is actually offering to pay is what it will cost to change your name in the first place. So a more accurate thing for him to say is he is offering 100 free name changes, as long as you change your name to the most unpopular name out there.
