What’s Brewing With Jen-Ben Simmons Quits Something Else
What was Brewing with Jen Scordo Today? Every day Jen shares 3 recent stories on “The Best Show Ever?” ranging from interesting, to funny, and weird. Today she talked about Ben Simmons quitting something else. A man calling out witches on Tik Tok, requesting they Hex him so he can prove they are fake. And a crypto company that accidentally gave one woman $10 million, instead of $100. Here are her stories from today.
Ben Simmons and Maya Jama End Engagement
First Ben Simmons split from the Sixers and Joel Embiid. After years of building the relationship, he stepped out and refused to play in Philly anymore, sitting out an entire season until they traded him to the Brooklyn Nets. He never ended up playing for them either, due to an injury. But now the former basketball player has ended another relationship. This time with his fiancee Maya Jama, who is a TV Presenter in the UK. The two were together for 7 months before he proposed to her last Christmas. But now their relationship is over before they could ever tie the knot. Apparently, both of them were too busy to make the relationship work.
“After many long nights and hours of heartfelt talks, they finally realized as much as they love each other, their nonstop careers and endless travel have made it incredibly impossible to make it work.” – a source on behalf of the former couple
That excuse may fly for Maya Jama. She is apparently in talks to host both Love Island and Big Brother in the U.K. She seems like a busy person and doesn’t have the time to make a long-distance relationship work. But what is Ben Simmons busy with? He never actually plays Basketball anymore. I guess he couldn’t find time away from putting up workout videos in an empty gym on TikTok to make a relationship work. Ben Simmons will now be able to dedicate all his time to sitting on a bench and looking bored while his Nets teammates actually try to win Basketball games.
Man Request Witches Hex Him So He Can Prove They’re “Nonsense”
There can be money in claiming to have magical powers. There is a whole industry of people claiming they can speak to deceased loved ones, or other magical accomplishments. Well, one man has taken to TikTok to debunk those claims. Ethan Keiser took to Tik Tok to request all the witches on the platform put a hex or curse on him. His goal, preventing more people from giving money to people he believes are scamming them.
“A lot of people are saying that I am playing with fire. I am sacrificing myself to show all of you this is nonsense because I don’t want you to spend money on these people and get scammed,”- Ethan Keiser in his video on TIk Tok
So how has it gone? Well at least so far, he has not experienced any effects of a curse. Some people claiming to be witches obliged him. One even requested that he send her “a photo of himself, a shirt and samples of his hair and nails.” But after doing so, he never felt the impact of any curses. Others claimed that because he was expecting it, it won’t happen, and it will instead affect future generations. But for me, if all you need to do to stop a hex, is to expect it, that doesn’t seem like a very powerful curse.
Crypto Firm Accidently Gives Woman $10 Million
Crypto dot Com was supposed to give a woman in Australia a $100 refund. But instead, they gave her $10 million. The thing is, it took them 7 months to discover the mistake. By the time they did, she had already split the money between several of her friends and family and bought a mansion. But the crypto firm is getting the money back. They recently won a court ruling declaring the person who received the millions must return it, with interest. The court also ordered her to sell the home, and to give all the proceeds back to Crypto.com
