WHOLESOME CONTENT ALERT

During Tuesday nights Angels Royals game Royals outfield MJ Melendez threw a ball into the stands that an adult caught. He was excited. He was pumped. He screamed. But then he noticed a kid sitting a few rounds down and he did the right thing! Throwing the ball to the kid who would enjoy it way more.

But then the baseball God's got involved.

In the bottom of the fourth inning Angels first baseman Matt Walsh hit a homerun.....that the kid caught. But in a shocking twist, he turned around and threw it back to the fan that rewarded him earlier.

I hope the kid threw the guy back the ball that Melendez threw into the stands. Because a home run ball is WAYYY cooler than the ball the outfielders throw around between innings. But thats really besides the point. It was awesome that the kid immediately thought to return the favor, because I certainly wouldnt have.

Im sure both guys will be invited back to an Angels game, and probably make their way into the booth, and they deserve it. In a world full of negativity and poor fan behavior, this is awesome. And a good reminder that if you are a grown adult, and catch a ball, give it to a kid.
