How is that for a Woj bomb? Wojnarowski followed up this tweet by saying the Sixers hope to get back on the court. Whether or not that will happen remains to be seen.
This all comes off the back of reports by Philly Voice’s Kyle Neubeck that Ben Simmons camp was starting to realize that they would not be getting the money back he was losing by sitting out. Ben has of course been sitting out, and demanding a trade out of Philly. The team maintains they want him back.
Where the two sides go for now is yet to be seen. Will he be back on the court? Is this just posturing from both sides to advance trade talks? Do the Sixers actually want him back on the court, or will both sides agree that he gets paid but doesn’t play? I expect we will get answers to some of these in the next couple weeks. But for now, Ben Simmons is in Philly. Ben Simmons has put both of his local homes up for sale.
