With the 28th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, the Philadelphia 76ers selected Jaden Springer out of Tennesee.

Here are some of his highlights, courtesy of John Clark.

He is 6 foot 4, has a 6 foot 7 wingspan, and is 18 years old.

Here is whatMike Schwartz, Associate Head Coach at Tennesee, told reporters about him back in January.

"The biggest thing I would say is that his shot selection from behind the arc has allowed him to shoot such a high percentage. That is really impressive from a freshman, especially when you consider that people were really questioning what kind of three-point shooter he is [coming in]. They wanted to see. He has proven it. But a lot of it is because of his shot selection."

His father Gary was in the same place Jaden is in tonight nearly 30 years ago. In the 1984 draft, the Sixers selected Gary Springer with 137th overall pick, though he would never suit up for the team.

Kyle Neubeck of The Philly Voice reported on Twitter that a team source expects the Sixers to keep Springer.

In college Springer was known for his defense, and he was efficient although low volume 3 point shooter.Sixers fans should expect a strong competitor, who with some work, could be a quality 3 and D player, with some ability to drive to the basket as well.
