Coronavirus in New Jersey: Bars, Restaurants, and Casinos to Close
New Jersey Governor, Phil Murphy announced all bars, restaurants, movie theaters, and casinos in the state will close at 8 p.m. Monday.
In Murphy’s announcement Monday he also strongly discouraged nonessential travel and are prohibiting gatherings of 50 or more people based off the latest CDC recommendations.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont also are applying the same restrictions to their states.
Essential businesses like supermarkets, gas stations, and pharmacies will be able to stay open after 8 p.m. and restaurants and bars will be able to offer take-out and delivery options.
