Loch Ness Monster

A view of the Loch Ness Monster, near Inverness, Scotland, April 19, 1934. The photograph, one of two pictures known as the ‘surgeon’s photographs,’ was allegedly taken by Colonel Robert Kenneth Wilson, though it was later exposed as a hoax by one of the participants, Chris Spurling, who, on his deathbed, revealed that the pictures were staged by himself, Marmaduke and Ian Wetherell, and Wilson. References to a monster in Loch Ness date back to St. Columba’s biography in 565 AD. More than 1,000 people claim to have seen ‘Nessie’ and the area is, consequently, a popular tourist attraction.

See what was brewing with Jen Scordo today. Every day on The Best Show Ever Jen Scordo shares 3 recent weird and interesting news stories. Today that included a juror and a dozen eggs, a Jurassic-era insect was found and the Loch Ness Monster was seen… Here are her stories from today.

Juror Leaves Eggs Behind After Being Kicked off Murdaugh Trial

The Alex Murdaugh murder trial has been an obsession for a lot of people across the country – me included.  I’ve followed the case since day 1.  Recently a juror on the trial was dismissed from the case because she allegedly talked about the trial outside of the courtroom.  When the judge asked if she left anything behind while she was being escorted out, she said her purse, a bottle of water and dozen eggs.  The judge laughed and got her things and she was escorted out, with a good chuckle from the courtroom.  Alex Murdaugh was found guilty of murdering his wife and son in a huge coverup in the low country. He’s going to spend life in prison without parole.

Zoologist Discovers Jurassic-Era Lacewing in Arkansas

A zoologist found a bug outside of an Arkansas Walmart recently that turned out to be a Jurassic-era giant lacewing.  The species has not been seen in eastern North America for over 50 years. After some research, scientists believe that there may be an undiscovered colony of the giant lacewing living somewhere in the Ozark Mountains.  I think this is so cool because a normal human, not a zoologist, would’ve walked right by this insect without a second thought.

Loch-Ness Monster Spotted Near Somerset in England

And the Loch Ness Monster has been spotted off the coast of England near Somerset last weekend… The Loch Ness monster lives in Loch Ness, Scotland… So he was outside of his normal living space.

Several people photographed the monster and the picture have cultivated a lot of comments online. Some comments alluded to the fact that everyone needs a vacation and Nessie was enjoying his in England.
