During the Afternoon show Tyrone, Jenn, and Connor played a fun game with listeners. The “All Philly Fantasy Team.” The criteria is simple. Pick a fantasy lineup of players who are either from here, lived here, or played here. The listeners got the first pick in the draft and Monday we unveiled the listener list. Here are Tyrone, Jenn, and Connor’s list and then you can decide yourself who has the better All Philly Fantasy Team!

Listener All Philly Fantasy Team!

Here are who they chose.

  • 1) Joe Frazier

Joe Frazier was chosen by Connor

Joe Frazier is one of the best boxers of all time and is a Philadelphia icon

  • 2) Carl Lewis

Carl Lewis was chosen by Tyrone

Carl Lewis graduated from Willingboro High School. He then went on to win Gold Medals until transitioning to a VERY unsuccessful singing career

  • 3) Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant was chosen by Jenn.

The real question here is how did Kobe last until pick 6?!

  • 4) Reggie White

Reggie White was chosen by Connor

The Eagles took Reggie in the supplemental draft and after a stint in the USFL he went on to be an absolute monster. Sack Machine. Arguably the best Eagles defensive player EVER.

  • 5) Charles Barkley

Charles Barkley was chosen by Tyrone.

The “Round Mound of Rebound” was chosen by the Sixers 5th overall. He became the face of the franchise after “Doc” left and went on to win an MVP award with Phoenix. He is one of the best players ever to not win a championship and he still lives in the area.

  • 6) Steve Carlton

Steve Carlton was chosen by Jenn

Jenn is having quite the draft, not overthinking anything here. Steve Carlton came over from the Cardinals for Rick Wise and that trade immediately proved to be highway robbery. He is the best left handed pitcher ever.

  • 7) Bobby Clarke

Bobby Clarke was chosen by Connor

Bobby Clarke was a 2nd round pick by the Flyers and dropped in the draft because he had diabetes. It ended up being a massive steal for the Flyers as Clarke turned in a Hall of Fame career and he might be the best Flyer of all time.

  • 8) Allen Iverson

Allen Iverson was chosen by Tyrone

I shouldnt need to explain to you why A.I. made the list. The real question is how he lasted to pick 16.

  • 9) Marvin Harrison

Marvin Harrison was chosen by Jenn

Marvin Harrison was a STAR at Roman Catholic and then he went on to Syracuse. He became Peyton Manning’s go to target for years and is a Hall of Famer.

  • 10) Bernard Hopkins

Bernard Hopkins was chosen by Connor

Bernard is a PROUD Philadelphian and a die hard Eagles fan. He is also one of the best boxers of his generation.

  • 11) Hal Greer

Hal Greer was chosen by Tyrone

Hal Greer was a stud at Marshall and was taken by the Syracuse Nationals. Then the team moved to Philly and he eventually moved to Springfield Massachusets to join the best of the best in the basketball Hall of Fame.

  • 12) Brian Dawkins

Brian Dawkins was chosen by Jenn

Its Weapon X. And the fact he EVER played in another jersey bothers me to this day

  • 13) Pedro Martinez

Pedro Martinez was chosen by Connor

Pedro was signed mid-season by the Phillies in 2009 to solidify the rotation. He was old, and past his prime. But he was still Pedro. He was still damn productive but he came up short in a must win game in the World Series.

  • 14) Bernie Parent

Bernie Parent was chosen by Tyrone.

One of the best goalies of all time actually had TWO stints in Philadelphia, playing for the Flyers and the Blazers. The Flyers dont win either Stanley Cup without Bernie back there. Especially considering the team played a man down quite a bit.

  • 15) Moses Malone

Moses Malone was chosen by Jenn

The missing piece that got the Sixers a championship, Moses proved to be a dominant force after coming to the team. He won 3 MVPs and is a Hall of Famer

  • 16) Connie Mack

Connie Mack was chosen by Connor Thomas

What a pick! Connor throwing it was back, picking one of the best managers in baseball history. The guy even had a stadium named after him. And I think we need to bring back his look! Managers wearing suits!

  • 17) Steve Van Buren

Steve Van Buren was chosen by Tyrone

Steve Van Buren is an all timer and the sole reason the Eagles won the 1948 World Championship as he scored the lone touchdown in the game.

  • 18) Roy Halladay

Roy Halladay was chosen by Jenn

The final pick is one of the greatest pitchers to ever wear a Phillies jersey. One of 5 pitchers to win the Cy Young award in both leagues. An absolute MONSTER on the mound.
