Howie Roseman recently finished up yet another draft. You may have been unaware of this little event the NFL has. Howie's draft's have come under scrutiny recently because of the fact that theyve....been less than impressive. So lets focus on the good! Howie became GM of the Eagles in 2010 and stayed in that position until 2014 when Chip Kelly banished him to the basement. He regained the role of GM in 2016 and has been there ever since.

Here are his best draft picks. during that (broken up) 11 year stretch.

#10 - Jalen Mills

Yes. Jalen Mills was extremely frustrating at times. But the fact that the Eagles were able to find a starting outsider corner who in the seventh round is a feather in Howie's cap. Because youre never expecting much from 7th round picks

#9 - Miles Sanders

The jury is still VERY much out, but Sanders was drafted in the 2nd round and right out the gate he looked like the real deal. He amassed over 1300 all purpose yards in his rookie campagin. He took a step back in year two. Itll be interesting to see how he adapts to Sirianni. But hes a potential building block

#8 - Jordan Poyer

Unfortunately Poyer became a great player with other teams. Poyer was drafted in the 7th round in the 2013 draft. He was placed on waivers in October 2013 by the woeful Cleveland Browns. It took a while but he blossomed into a REALLY good safety. Hes cashed in with the Buffalo Bills signing a 4 year $13 million dollar deal in 2017 and then signing a 2 year extension for $20.5 million in 2020

#7 - Carson Wentz

Its hard, but try to ignore the 2020 season (we know you want to) and focus on the Carson Wentz we saw from 2016-2020. He looked like the real deal. He looked like a franchise QB. He was the MVP favorite in 2017 until his injury. And in retrospect, the Eagles didnt give up that much to get the 2nd pick to take him

#6 - Nick Foles

He brought us a damn Super Bowl.

#5 - Brandon Graham

Would I have written this 5 years ago? No. But slowly, Brandon Graham went from first round bust to one of the better players in franchise history. Capped off with the biggest strip sack ever. (not up for debate. Its the biggest strip sack of all time).

#4 - Lane Johnson

Johnson was taken 4th overall in 2013. And the Eagles lucked out because he was the 3rd OT taken. Hes been banged up recently, but hes an absolute stud when hes out there.

#3 - Zach Ertz

Zach Ertz was the Eagles 2nd round pick in 2014 and he has become the best TE in franchise history.

#2 - Fletcher Cox

The Eagles traded up to get the Ole Miss product in 2012 and he is the best first rounder from that year. 6 pro bowls, 1 All Pro season. Cox has been the bed rock of the defensive line.

#1 - Jason Kelce

190 players were drafted in front of Jason Kelce. But the Cincinnati product immediately took the starting job and became one of the best centers in the league. Speaking of value, he may be the BEST Eagles draft pick of all time.
