As the Philadelphia Flyers continue their Round One playoff push, the hockey club took their Community Caravan to Warminster, PA to get fans pumped up for playoff hockey in the heat.

Monday’s Caravan stop was at 4 p.m. and traveled a 3-mile loop of residential streets in Warminster Township.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the hockey club has sidelined the hands-on activities of years’ past, transforming the Community Caravan into a socially-distant mobile pep rally featuring DJ Hollywood, In-Arena Host Andrea Helfrich, Flyers Alumni, the Flyers Ice Team and, of course, Gritty on a tandem bike with his Gritty guards! The Caravan will also included exclusive giveaways with a summertime twist that will help fans gear up for playoffs including beach balls, Frisbees, kites and sunglasses. 97.5 The Fanatic provided snacks from Herr’s.

Fans enjoying the Caravan are encouraged to practice safe social-distancing procedures when receiving giveaways and spectating.
