The Sixers now sit 8th in the Eastern conference standings, Joel Embiid’s return but not tonight, the Flyers loss last night and now their chances of playoffs dwindling. He also goes over the Phillies loss to the Cincinnati Reds in extra innings, another blown lead, but what shined for the Phils. Haason Reddick’s press conference with the Jets since being traded has some dissecting to do.
(22:37-34:27) Bob continues his topics, talks about the women’s NCAA tournament, and goes to the phone lines. Joel Embiid is out for tonight’s game, but how exciting will it be to see him on the court with the teams acquisitions since his injury.
(34:33-44:26) Former 76er Todd MacCulloch and Sixers announcer Matt Cord join Bob! Todd shares updates about his life.
(44:32-1:00:56) NBCS Philadelphia’s John Clark joins Bob to talk about all the latest in everything Philly sports. He talks about the return of Embiid, the Sixers and Flyers playoff push.
(1:01:10-1:14:45) Bob asks Ray about whether or not he believes Rob Thomson may be in a slump and explains why he thinks so. Plus, they react to John Tortorella’s comments from last night.
(1:14:51-1:22:58) Joel Embiid’s return date is still not definite. The guys discuss where they think the 76ers will sit in standings come playoff time. They talk more about Tortorella’s comments and coaching.
(1:23:04-1:44:40) ESPN’s Steve Levy joins Bob Cooney to talk about John Tortorella and the Flyers, their playoff push and the latest with the team!
