John, Jamie, and Pat open the show talking about another bad Aaron Nola start, and John says if the Phillies miss the playoffs, it will be on Aaron Nola (0:00:00-0:23:04). Then they get into some weird fan behavior over the weekend, and Jamie asks if we would be happy if Jalen Hurts is Baker Mayfield (0:23:14-0:46:52). In the next segment, they get into a conversation about comedy actors, and also Pat apologizes for his past defense of Nola (0:47:02-1:09:05-1:10:15). Then they discuss the Phillies more, and get into if the NFC East is more open than we thought because of a weird issue with Dak Prescott in the preseason where he may be hurt again (1:10:25-1:31:56). Then they talk about the Eagles having a joint practice with the Patriots, being impressed by Nick Sirianni’s poise so far, and about how the Phillies wasted a chance over the weekend (1:32:06-1:55:09). Next they introduce the Pick’em pool, and in The Lynch Pin he talks about ‘The Curious Case of Aaron Nola’ (1:55:19-2’19”30). Then they discuss if Justin Fields could make the eagles regret picking Devonta Smith, and Jamie talks about a ride from hell he experienced over the weekend (2:19:40-2:40:59). And in the final segment they talk more about the Phillies, and talk about great games you missed out on, and then Anthony joins for the crossover (2:41:09-END).
