The Best of The Anthony Gargano Show – Song Vibes and Matt Breen’s Perspective
On today’s best of, Anthony opens the show reacting to a story Bob shared on the morning show in reference to a former colleague asking for contact info of another person and not getting permission to talk to that person. Then Anthony reacts to the Phillies blowout win over the Diamondbacks, but his excitement gets overshadowed when Andrew tells Anthony that many fans are not on board with the song coming back (0:30-15:45). Matt Breen of the Philly Inquirer joins the show to discuss the landscape of Philly Sports, and dives into the big topic of the Phillies bringing the song back and finding their winning ways, what to do with the 5th starter spot with the likes of Griff McGarry and Mick Abel in the minors and Andrew Painter working his way back from injury and Matt also dives into the comments Doc Rivers made about James Harden and Joel Embiid on the Bill Simmons podcast (15:45-35:00).
