(00:00-53:31) Today on Cuz Radio, Anthony starts off talking about how old school Philly sports radio was basically Eagles 24/7. Would you be ok if sports radio went back to that? Andrew releases a poll asking that exact question. With the Flyers near the bottom, the Sixers unable to get out of the second round, and the Phillies being a disaster to this point, are we back to the old days? Where it is Birds 24/7? Can you still handle Birds 24/7 like “the old days”? Your choices are ‘I’m in for Birds 24/7’, ‘Why? Not even excited” and “No. Mix in all sports’. The guys then get into conversation about how expensive certain items are now. For example, the Choonis just paid $16 for a bag of pistachios. Anthony asks you what item is the biggest rip off right now then heads to the phones.
(53:32-1:07:31) On Morning Thoughts, movies are on Anthony’s mind. He talks about how going to the movies is a good day out. It’s a fun event to spend the day doing. He asks Andrew if going to the movies is back now that COVID is basically over or will the popularity of streaming continue to take over. What’s on Andrews mind is how he woke up last night to feed Cooper and while barefoot, he steps in a hairball from the cat. It didn’t make waking up early easier. Anthony lets him know, once Coop is a toddler, he will be finding a lot more things on the floor.
(1:07:32-1:14:13) Anthony heads back to the phones and gives you a chance to win tickets to see the new Adam Sandler movie Hustle.
(1:14:14-1:30:44) Philadelphia native and current ESPN Sportscenter anchor Kevin Negandhi joins the show. He talks about the NBA Finals with Anthony as well as the Phillies struggles. Kevin receives a special call from his Vice Principal at Phoenixville High School. He shares a story about how Kevin told him back in 1985-86 he was going to be on ESPN.
(1:30:45-2:50:23) Anthony heads back to the phones to hear what you have to say about the Eagles, rip-offs, Sixers, socks in bed, or anything else you have on your mind.
