(00:00-19:55) Today on The Anthony Gargano Show, Anthony can’t stop gushing over how great of a player Joel Embiid is (who can blame him). Embiid turned in another great performance last night against the Bucks. He dominated and helped everyone forget the Sixers blowout loss versus the Celtics the other night. Andrew couldn’t agree more with Anthony and gives his thoughts.
(20:05-53:01) Anthony and Andrew talk about the Sixers needing to add one more piece. Anthony also asks Andrew if he would make a deal with the basketball devil (that looks like Andrew Bynum) to bring a Sixers parade down Broad Street. The Sixers win the championship this year but the rest of the 2020’s belong to Ben Simmons. Andrew can’t do it and Anthony is not sure. He heads to the phones to hear your thoughts.
(53:02-58:24) On today’s Morning Thoughts, Anthony and Andrew talk about what was going through their head this morning. They both were thinking about how awful the Flyers are. The Sixers are on the rise and the Flyers are heading in the complete opposite direction.
(58:25-1:25:02) Anthony heads back to the phones to talk Sixers and the basketball devil.
(1:25:12-1:45:59) ESPN basketball analyst and former NBA player Tim Legler joins the show. He talks about Joel Embiid and how he has greatly matured over the years. He went from a player talking about how he deserves the MVP to a player talking about how winning as a team will take care of any deserved accolades. Players look up to Embiid and see him as a leader. Tim and Anthony also talk about whether the Sixers need to add someone from the buyout market.
(1:46:12-2:54:02) Anthony heads back to the phones for the rest of the show.
