Tom Alvord hosts this edition of Philly Sports Tonight and is joined by Birds Insider Andrew DiCecco for the first hour. DiCecco answers a few big questions surrounding this Eagles team:
What’s this team’s biggest strength? Biggest weakness?
What was the single most impactful move this offseason?
What’s a fair expectation for the defense?
Is it a disappointment if the Eagles don’t win the NFC East?
Then later in the show Tom gets into a myriad of 76ers rumors. Shams reported earlier the 76ers interest is waning in regards to Paul George. Is this just a smoke screen or do they have another plan? And if they don’t go after Paul George, who do they turn to?
Later Tom gets to the Phillies and plays back a list of names Jayson Stark mentioned in regards to outfielders the Phillies may look to acquire.
Then it’s time for ‘It Could be Worse!’, where Tom and Josh look at different teams around the league and how they have it worse than our teams in Philadelphia.
