Philadelphia is preparing to step into the national spotlight once again as Major League Baseball and the Philadelphia Phillies officially unveil the 2026 MLB All‑Star Week schedule, set to take place Friday, July 10, through Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Anchored by the 96th Midsummer Classic at Citizens Bank Park, this milestone week carries added significance as it coincides with America’s Semiquincentennial celebration.

The All‑Star Game will be played on Tuesday, July 14, following the T‑Mobile Home Run Derby the night before. The return of the All‑Star Game to Philadelphia mirrors history — the city last hosted the event in 1976, during the nation’s Bicentennial, making 2026 a fitting moment for baseball’s biggest stage to return.

All‑Star Week action begins on Friday, July 10, with the HBCU Swingman Classic presented by USA Baseball at Citizens Bank Park. Co‑created with Baseball Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr., the Swingman Classic showcases Division‑I baseball student‑athletes from Historically Black Colleges and Universities, celebrating the legacy, culture, and future of HBCU baseball through a nationally televised event filled with unique music, ceremonies, and presentation elements.

The weekend builds momentum with a packed All‑Star Sunday doubleheader on July 12. Fans will first see the All‑Star Futures Game, highlighting baseball’s top prospects in a seven‑inning exhibition infused with Minor League‑style entertainment. That game will be followed by the debut of MLBx: All‑Star 3‑on‑3, a fast‑paced, co‑ed exhibition featuring former MLB All‑Stars, softball superstars, legends, and special guests competing in a power‑hitting, athletic format.

Beyond the ballpark, fans of all ages can immerse themselves in the Capital One All‑Star Village, running Saturday, July 11 through Tuesday, July 14, inside the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This multi‑day fan festival will include interactive experiences, youth participation programming through Capital One PLAY BALL PARK, and future appearances by former players to be announced.

Also returning during All‑Star Week is the MLB Draft presented by Nippon Express, taking place Saturday, July 11 at 1:30 p.m. from the Convention Center’s Grand Hall. Attendance is free and open to the public, offering fans a front‑row look at the future of the game.

The week concludes with the All‑Star Red Carpet Show on July 14, where MLB All‑Stars arrive with their families and showcase their personal style before the main event, airing live on MLB Network.

With events spread across Philadelphia and tied to the nation’s 250th birthday, 2026 MLB All‑Star Week promises to be more than a baseball showcase — it’s a celebration of sport, culture, history, and community.
