The Philadelphia Union Academy, in partnership with Major League Soccer (MLS) and MLS NEXT, has announced the Group Stage details for the 2026 Generation adidas (GA) Cup. Matches are set for March 27 through April 4.

According to the Philadelphia Union, the 2026 GA Cup will feature 19 international teams from 14 countries. They include FC Bayern, FC Barcelona, PSV Eindhoven, Wolfsburg, CF Monterrey, and Club America, competing against MLS academies at IMG Academy.

Under their current head coach Peter McDonnell, the Union U-16 team will be in Group F. According to the Union's news release, the U-16 team will face Atlanta United FC, Sporting Kansas City, and Monterrey in the group stage. Nashville SC, St. Louis CITY SC, and Club Necaxa will also appear in Group F matchups for other Union U-16 games.

The Union U-15 squad, led by Ben Moane, is in Group G and will face Inter Miami CF, Sporting Kansas City, and Toulouse FC in the group stage.

According to the information released officially by the Union, the Union Academy is a four-time GA Cup winner and is the only MLS club to have won back-to-back GA Cup championships at the U-17 level in 2023 and 2024.
